Event and Design was established in 2006. Co-owner and events co-ordinator, Barry Geyer, has 12 years experience in the hospitality and wedding industry. As manager of a small boutique hotel in the Cape Winelands, he gained valuable experience in the managing of events.

Six years ago he decided to live out his passion and apply his knowledge and expertise by founding Event and Design, a company specialising in the co-ordination of weddings and corporate events.

As a further service, Event and Design also designs and prints bespoke wedding invitations and stationery. Our wedding stationery was awarded a VOW AWARD (The Oscars of the Wedding Industry) in the Special Occasions Stationery category.

Highlights of 2011 include being featured a 6th time on Pasella, the SABC magazine program with the highest viewer rating, on 6 different programs.
